Computer Workshops Offered by
the Greensburg Public Library
BEGINNING INTERNET
This workshop focuses on Internet basics.
Workshop participants will:
Learn what a browser is and about some of its features
Learn how to do three types of searches:
- an address search
- a keyword search
- a subject search.
Become acquainted with the search engines Google and Yahoo.
And even more.
Beginning Internet workshops are offered each month except during the month of December.
INTERMEDIATE INTERNET
This workshop builds on the basics taught in Beginning Internet.
Participants learn how to refine their Internet search skills and become power searchers!
Intermediate Internet workshops are offered every other month except during the month of December.
It is strongly recommended that participants take Beginning Internet before taking Intermediate.
WORD PROCESSING
This workshop covers the basics of Microsoft Word.
Participants will:
learn how to create a basic document
become acquainted with ways to select, move and copy text
explore some of the options in saving and opening documents
explore and learn other word processing procedures.
Word Processing workshops are offered every other month except during the month of December.
